The Web of Science scheme comprises approximately 250 subject areas in science, social sciences, and arts & humanities. Many broad areas such as physics and materials science are represented by smaller subfields. Selecting subject areas from this list enables you to make comparisons in targeted areas such as Applied Chemistry or Geriatrics & Gerontology.
